Here is my new ADG Blythe I purchased off EBay last week. This is right out of the box. After reading so much about Blythe dolls I thought I knew what to expect but she was so different from what I imagined. Her head is huge! She did have a greenish tinge to her forehead and her eye makeup is too dark. Both of these problems were dealt with by sand matting her face.
Here she is the morning after her sanding. She was a bit sheepish that morning but delighted that her ghastly eyeshadow was gone and she had a new porcelain complexion.
I sanded a bit of her lips off so I repainted them with a some acrylic paint and the tiniest brush I could find.
By the way, my new "she" is actually "Astrid". Her is Astrid in her new yellow party dress. I used a yellow sheet I had originally purchased for a shower curtain and part of a very old set of curtains that have followed me from Nebraska to here.
