I had originally planned this as a test for applying the image to skirt that needs a makeover. It is taking forever to get done and I am not sold on the green or pink either. I have a bead embroidery book coming my way from the library to try the ladybug in seed beads. I also punctured a hole in this when I packed it into a bag with a set of scissors. Bummer. This was just a test piece, no reason for me to fret.
Here is Astrid's latest outfit, really just her latest shirt. The swinging pair of flare pants I created to go with the shirt turned out with one leg too tight. I like the print on this fabric a lot and have just enough left over from a skirt I made for myself last summer. The background for this picture was a water color of Charlotte's Web Pie-pie did when she was maybe 4.

My skis and I had one of our best days last Wednesday on Mt Bachelor. With some liquid courage and a fierce warm-up on chunder I mustered the courage to do some jumps. Phillip was a great coach and cheered me on, I couldn't get enough. Our next day out, two days later was a different story. It was rough, heavy, wet snow, I was tired, my skis were tired and I had to stop by 11am. Oh, and I got knocked over by a chair on a lift. Erase the image from your head, it is sad enough they had to stop the lift. I had become that person. It was definitely time to stop. I bid the boys a farewell and headed to the lodge . . .
